"My look for the 'Athletes & Entertainers' Celebrity Karaoke Event!"

Ok, had a last minute event to attend, the 'Athletes & Entertainers' Celebrity Karaoke Event , last night...and I was put on the list of "Possible Celebrities Contestants".  So, of course, the 1st thing that came to mind was what am I going to wear?!?!

I turned to a look that I know always works and looks great!  I snatched a Statement blazer from the boutique and paired it with a black top, black shorts, black tights, and a pair of black leather peep toe sling back pumps. Oh, not to forget a small but beautiful broach I added to the blazer and also additional accessories to finish the look.  I received soo many compliments...from the blazer to my shoes!  This look was a hit!! What do you think?!?!

Epiphany Boutique Steps Into the Spotlight... Again!

The boutique has been thriving since its grand opening in early April of this year! The owner, Louise Thomas, has hit the ground running and hasn't stopped. She's doing a lot: hosting network parties, attending other social events, styling photo shoots and more!

Introducing Louise Thomas, Owner of Epiphany Boutique!!

Meet the woman behind one of the most original ideas to hit the fashion scene yet... Louise Thomas, owner of Epiphany Boutique! Read on and get to know Louise as she answers questions on how she came up with the idea for Epiphany Boutique, her visions for the future of the boutique, and more! 


Question: What inspired you to go into fashion? 
Louise's Answer: I have always been a fashion conscious person and always had my own sense of style.  I've always been one that loved the "hunt" of special,  unique pieces and I truly love to help others look their best.  This is something that is truly part of my soul...I wanted to bring this to others by providing a unique platform.  The love/passion for fashion has always been there I just needed to put a plan together! I wanted to do what I loved and loved what I did...so I did it!


Question: What inspired the concept of the boutique and it's name?
Louise's Answer: Epiphany Boutique was an idea that I have had for many years.  I have always wanted to be a part of the fashion industry, but never really knew how I was going to break into it.  I always wanted to create a space that I would love as a consumer...I wanted to create a place that I felt was missing from the boutique world.  I love shopping at boutiques, but I don't like the crowded, cluttered feeling and the feeling of being rushed or not receiving the best customer service.  I wanted a space where women could come in and instantly want to slow down, a place where they would feel as though they walked into a true 'fashion haven'  -a place where they would feel comfortable and welcomed.  Customers here are greeted with a genuine smile and a glass of wine if wanted.  They have the opportunity to take their time and shop in peace... and the space to take it all in.
  The name Epiphany Boutique came from me having a true 'Epiphany'... even though this was something that I thought about for years, the true idea and inspiration hit me like a ton on rocks... an Epiphany!  I hit the ground running, I put my vision into motion and made it all come together.  My husband was truly a major contributor throughout the entire process... without him, I couldn't have done it all!  I so love him for that and all that he has done!




Question: What do you expect to bring to the fashion scene of St. Louis?
Louise's Answer: I want to bring a new twist to the fashion scene here in St. Louis.  I want to bring a new way of fashion expression by incorporating events within the boutique.  I want to bring a fresh feel, a timeless feel, I want to show women how to make fashion their own and not depend so much on trends.  Epiphany Boutique is an experience within itself...when you walk through the doors, you get it right away!  I honestly want to bring a new way of thinking, I want to raise the bar.  I wanted to make sure Epiphany Boutique was to be nothing like a traditional store... instead it feels like a high-end designers showroom or a swanky music lounge with fashion accents!


Question:  What is your own personal style like, how would you describe it?
Louise's Answer: My personal style is very much contemporary/classic with an edgy flare.  I'm a very professional woman with spunk & sass and love to have diversity in my wardrobe to reflect that. I like to express myself through fashion, I truly use it as an outlet.  I like to create looks that are my own, maybe borrow from a current trend, but put my personal  spin on it.  I am very much an individual, I like to stand out in a good way.  I love dressing up even if I don't have a place to go! I don't like to blend...but I'm always a lady first no matter what I am wearing.  I believe a woman should always be classy and never be afraid to push the envelope a bit and be sexy and audacious!  Fashion is supposed to be adventurous and fun! Make it your own!


Question: Where do you see Epiphany Boutique in the next 5 years or so?
Louise's Answer: In the next 5 years...I see Epiphany Boutique as a 'household name'.  I see Epiphany Boutique going global and creating ripples in the fashion world.  We are looking forward to having an additional store in the St. Louis area and possible branching off into other cities.  Epiphany Boutique will be the go-to location when someone is looking for a 'signature piece' that will be a part of their wardrobe forever or to attend the hottest events.  Epiphany Boutique will become a brand!


Question: How can you educate women about fashion (especially those who don't feel like they have any style or fashion sense)?
Louise's Answer: I would tell every woman to embrace who they are and make the best of what they have as far as body shape, money ect.  Fashion is something that should be a part of everyone's life, but everyone should take pride in making it their own.  Don't worry about following the latest trend, but do what works best for you and play on that.  Don't be afraid to mix something old with something new...you can always reinvent your wardrobe by adding signature pieces as well.  I always call them investment pieces because you can always see your 'return' and those pieces add value to your style.  But ultimately you should enjoy fashion and don't be afraid!



Question: Anything you would like to say to the men? I know it's a women's boutique, but how can men get involved (for the sake of their girlfriends, lovers or wives)?
Louise's Answer: Men... women love to shop and find those special 'it' pieces...Epiphany Boutique is the answer!  Epiphany Boutique is a place where men feel comfortable and also enjoy the shopping experience.  They can partake in the process.  Men can enjoy a glass of wine, sit comfortably on our sleek leather couch and view the flat screen or join their wife/girlfriend in the dressing room...there's plenty of room to spare.  Epiphany Boutique is a space where woman can rent it out for special occasions such as birthdays, bridal showers, girls night out, and many more "just because" occasions!




Question: What's happening next at Epiphany Boutique?

Louise's Answer:  With pleasure we are always open for customers to come in and enjoy what we have to offer Monday through Wednesday (by appointment) and 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday!  We will be hosting a Networking Party on Saturday May 21, 2011 from 7 p.m.-11 p.m.  We will also be hosting "Business Women in the Neighborhood"  PNC Bank networking event on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, from 5pm-7:30pm. Epiphany Boutique has many things planned for the next upcoming months.  I will be a guest on our local station, STL TV, on Monday May 16, 2011 @ 5pm.  I will be discussing the boutique and upcoming events...We are so excited!

**Revisiting a Fantastic Moment in Time... The Launch Party**

If you're enthused by or attracted to big city living, the hustle and bustle of a sparkling atmosphere, friendly people, glamour, fashion, eclectic music and just plain fabulousness in general, then the Epiphany Boutique launch party would have been the event for you! It happened on April 9, 2011, a seasonably warm Saturday night in downtown St. Louis! The temperatures got up to around 80 degrees that day and did not fall off very much that night. So imagine the good energy that abounded on just that fact alone!

The first thing guests saw upon entering the PW Shoe lofts (which houses Epiphany Boutique) was the extravagant and celebrity-style red carpet just in the hall outside of the boutique. To compliment the lush red carpet was a beautiful backdrop with Epiphany Boutique logos randomly placed throughout for beautiful picture capturing. Working the red carpet was a professional photographer who snapped the lovely guests upon entering the boutique!

When walking into the Epiphany Boutique venue, you might have automatically felt that it was not your typical, run of the mill shopping option, but more so a top of the line, swanky music lounge where one could shop for "never before seen" designer fashions!

The first person you saw, upon entering Epiphany Boutique, was a beautiful lady working the door and checking people's names off on a guest list. Following that, one of the lovely, polite and personable hostesses offered and served hor d'oeuvres and wine! The beautiful guests were scattered everywhere, adding so much good energy and sparkle to the place as well! There were people browsing the hottest and latest fashions, having exciting conversations, trying on garments and shoes in the luxurious dressing room, checking out at the register with Louise (the owner of the boutique) or chatting animately with her and her husband... There were people waltzing in and out of the boutique to have their pictures snapped, Hollywood-style, on the red carpet and then back in to do more shopping, chatting, eating and drinking or simply sitting back while watching the glamourous event unfold.

The mix of eclectic music on the sound system was the perfect soundtrack to a very chic and sophisticated evening. It truly complemented the way in which the guests were dressed beautifully trendy and fashionable. As you walked around the high-ceilinged, finely decorated, loft-style boutique, you couldn't help but to notice the artsy mannequins covered in some of the most eye catching, jaw dropping accessories and garments you've ever seen in St. Louis! On nice, decorative shelves there were some of the hottest boots and heels ever!!! But let us not forget the clothing racks that were packed with all sorts of alluring dresses, dazzling sequined and uniquely designed tops, sexy rompers, the first ever reversible denim jean, after hour looks and so much more! In addition, encased in a glass shelf were all types of unique pieces of jewelry and accessories- from extravagant and dramatic to understated and elegant.

If you're in St. Louis, you will not find a better location for all your fashionably exclusive, style enhancing needs. It was a pleasure to see guests so happy and astounded by the look and feel of the boutique, the guests, the music, the charm,  its charismatic owner and all of the exquisite jewelries, bags and garments it had to offer that night!

Epiphany Boutique's Launch Party... What A Glamorous Experience!!

Hello to all Epiphany Boutique enthusiasts and the like!! We know it's been a few days since we checked back in, but with good reason!

The launch party for the boutique opening was more than we'd imagined! We could spend an entire day telling you about the exquisite and fabulous energy that contributed to one grand night... but first we'll let our guests from the party tell you in their own words what they thought about Epiphany Boutique and its owner, Louise Thomas!

As you can see, the grand opening for Epiphany Boutique received quite the response and this is only the beginning! Stay tuned, because we'll be posting a full cover of the launch party really soon, pictures and all!

The "Personal Shopper" Experience Here at Epiphany Boutique!!!

At Epiphany Boutique we offer a Personal Shopper service.  This is a one-on-one service that also includes personal styling. Yep you guessed it... it's just like being a celebrity & having your very own personal stylist to help you look your very best!

This is how the process works...we schedule a time for you to come to the boutique loft for the initial consultation.  During that time, we discuss what type of event you will be attending (if any), the overall look that you are going for, we take your measurements, and we discuss the different lines/designers that would be perfect for you.  After gathering as much information as possible, we then shop our current inventory to see if we have any items on hand that will suit you and your style.  If we still need additional items to complete the look(s) that are not in the inventory, we will then consult with specific designers and lines to special order all needed items.  After all that fun stuff we then schedule a date for you to return and at that time you are able to review the different styles that were purchased for you.  We will then style the entire look from head to toe while making sure it is exactly what you are looking for!

This service is very personalized and hands on.  We want to make the process of looking great and feeling confident much more enjoyable and pleasurable than you'd ever imagined while shopping!  Your Personal Shopper appointment is exclusively yours and the loft is open just to you during this time!

Fees:

**There is no cost for your personal shopper appointment/consultation, but 10% of the total order for all items special ordered will be charged at the time of checkout! If all of your items come straight from our showroom floor (or our inventory) here at the boutique, then there is no additional cost to you!**

Welcome To The Fabulous Epiphany Boutique!!!

Epiphany Boutique is not your ordinary boutique or even your ordinary clothing shop for that matter!! In fact, it is a "showroom" boutique. What does this mean? Think of those top fashion designers and the locations that they use to house all their never before seen fashions! This is the essence of Epiphany Boutique! Think a rich collection of top of the line event wear (you've never seen) coming from exclusive designers from all over the world!! 

In a few words Epiphany Boutique carries a collection that is hip and sexy, but with a highly sophisticated flare. So when you have a snazzy little spot like this what better place to house it than inside of a revamped, eclectic, artsy loft space. Yes, we're serious! All of Epiphany's high end styles live right inside this cozy loft space know as the PW Shoe Loft. 

The building is an historical hallmark of downtown St. Louis, MO and is located in the cities fine theater district.  In the 20s the building was known as the PW Shoe Factory and shoes were manufactured there, so it seemed a perfect fit to bring fashion back to this very place! Today the building not only consists of artsy and spacious loft living for St. Louis residents, but it is now the proud home of Epiphany Boutique!

The boutique, situated in a part of downtown known as Midtown Alley, has arrived at a grand time! We say this because Midtown Alley is part of a new renovation project that is taking place in the neighborhood. The project's focus is to make the area one where everything you need and want is at your fingertips. This means that it is on it's way to becoming an all inclusive neighborhood with fancy places to shop, eat, dance, attend college, enjoy entertainment and so much more. Even the fabulous Fox Theater is within walking distance of Epiphany Boutique. Then there's the Saint Louis University Campus, which interweaves throughout the neighborhood. 

The PW Shoe Loft itself is just across the street from the Moto Museum, which showcases historical motorbikes from waaay back! And if that wasn't enough to get you excited over all that surrounds Epiphany Boutique, then maybe you're a jazz enthusiast and would find it thrilling to know that the boutique is within walking distance of the famous Jazz Bistro lounge/concert venue/restaurant!! Many fine jazz acts perform there on a regular! It's all quite exciting!! 

With a great mix of college students, theater goers, dance nymphs, jazz lovers and everything in between, you'll find a unique mix of folks who frequent or reside in the neighborhood!
